Holiday Gift Guide 2018

I’m so excited to be adding a blog to my website (FINALLY!) And what a better way to kick off the blogging than with my Holiday Gift Guide! Because of my husband’s crazy schedule, Holidays, anniversaries (any celebration, really) are always a bit delayed. Just this week I began my Christmas Shopping, and it really inspired me to share some of my favorites!

I just couldn’t wait to share these gift ideas with YOU! One of my favorite things is gift-giving, so I hope this little collection inspires you to step up your gift-giving game this Holiday Season!

#1: Echo Dot | $19.99

Disclaimer: I am not a tech savvy person BUT these fancy “Alexa” things are amazing. You don’t think you need one until you have one. It’s incredibly convenient to check the weather, time, set a timer, play music, etc.

#2: Moccasins | $14.88

Every woman needs a pair of moccasins in her life. Perfect for lounging around the house, stepping out on the patio, grabbing the mail and running errands! My sweet sister-in-love got me a leopard print pair years ago, and they are now in shreds. So getting a new pair is on my Christmas list this year!

#3: Cookbooks | $15.00+

Even if you don’t love to cook, these cookbooks will make you want to! With their pretty photos and easy to follow instructions, you’re bound to find a new favorite recipe! I’ve tried several recipes from Joanna Gains’ cookbook, Magnolia Table {FIND IT HERE} and have loved them so far! Also, while visiting my local Barns and Nobel, I stumbled across Reese Witherspoon’s new cookbook, Whiskey in a Teacup {FIND IT HERE}! Although I have not tried any of her recipes (yet), I thought they looked delicious and the cookbook was just the cutest! (Okay, okay, I’ll admit I only want it because it would look darling on my coffee table!)

#4: Two Faced Lip Stain | $10.00

I’m not much of a makeup junkie, but I love having a fun lip color in my bag for those special occasions! And let me preface this with I am NOT a lipstick girl; I am a chapstick girl! However, I’ve found that these lipstains go on as smooth as butter and they DON’T SMEAR. Like AT ALL. Seriously. I kept forgetting that I even had it on! Stays on like a flea on the back of a coon dog. And the color is bright, vibrant and doesn’t fade! My favorite shade is “Love you long time”!

#5: The Creative’s Planner | $79.00

As a creative entrepreneur and small business owner, I’ve searched high and low for THEE perfect planner. I’ve needed something cute but practical, and especially one that has more than one year’s worth of dates. It’s definitely a little pricer, but well worth it in my opinion! It includes daily pages, monthly overviews, goal setting, financial planning and a workflow tracker! Plus the leather cover, foil embossing and silk-like pages; it’s chic and practical all bound together in one perfect planner!

#6: Gold Watch | $19.99

Every woman (and man) needs a neutral-colored watch in their life. This one is classic, simple and will match every item in your wardrobe! Perfect for parents, siblings, friends, coworkers or {cough cough} your favorite photographer!

#7: Bathrobe | $31.99

This bathrobe is made of a thin, soft cotton AND POCKETS (I hate it when a bathrobe is so thick that you can’t wear it without sweating an arm off) and it’s longer than the average bathrobe, making it perfect to wear around the house or out to the mailbox without having a Marilyn Monroe incident.

#8: Beer Caps Map | $39.00+

I’ll be the first to admit that this is a big conversation starter in our home! Our sweet friends gifted us the USA beer cap map for our wedding, and we’ve loved collecting beer and soda caps over the past few years! You can also get your specific state as well!

#9: Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey | $17.79

My husband and I recently read this book (and took Dave’s class), and it was a total game changer for us! This is a perfect gift for a high school graduate, college graduate, newly married couple, etc.! What’s a better gift than biblical financial advice?!

#10: Stocking Stuffers

I wanted to finish off my 2018 list with a few of my FAVORITE Stocking Stuffers!

  • Essie Nail Polish

  • A fun ornament to remember 2018 by

  • Chocolates (Lindt is my fav!…hint hint!)

  • Car Air Fresheners

  • Dr. Scholls foot inserts (because who does’t need that?!)

  • Travel sized lotions/sprays

  • Statement earrings (Love the ones by The Spotted Pineapple)!

  • A bottle of wine (wine can fit in a stocking, right?)

  • Anything monogrammed

  • Watercolor pen (for all you creatives out there!) This one if my fav!

  • Passport cover (Love THIS one!)

This Holiday Gift Guide is a wide collection of some of my favorite things and they are of varying price points! My hope is that you can find something you’d LOVE to buy for a loved one (or let’s be honest, maybe just add it to your own wish list!) Happy Holidays Friends!
